Questions people ask.

What is the Pomodoro Technique?
Work for 25 minutes, take a 5-minute break, and repeat. After four rounds, take a longer break. Change the timings if 25/5 doesn't suit you.
Is Pomodoro Planter free?
Yes. Use the timer and grow plants for free.
Do I need an account?
No. Start now. Sign in only when you want to save your field and sync the timer across devices.
What do I share when I sign up?
Just an email and a display name, handled by the sign-in service Clerk. It's used only to keep your garden on your account — no ads, and nothing is sold or shared.
Can I change the Pomodoro length?
Yes. Rename, reorder, add, or remove timers. Each step can be 1 to 120 minutes, and a cycle can have up to 12 steps.
Can I use the 52/17 or 90/20 method?
Yes. There's a 52/17 preset, and you can set 90/20—or any other rhythm—yourself.
Can I use this as an Animedoro timer?
Yes. Use the Animedoro preset: one hour of focus, then a 20-minute break for an episode. You can change both.
Does the timer sync across devices?
Yes, once you sign in. Start on one device and the same timer keeps running on another.
Which plant does a focus session grow?
Guests grow the starter plant. Signed-in users keep growing their current plant, or get a Tomato automatically when none is selected. You can change what grows next at any time.
How is this different from other Pomodoro timers?
No coach, no feed, and no streak guilt. Finish a focus and your plant grows. Over time, your field shows the work you did.
